i wish more people would watch Skins Uk, or at least had watched generation 3 (series 5+6). Mini/Alo is one of the best fictional  relationships i have ever seen

they are very, very similar to dan/blair.
actually, they’re probably a better written, less screwed up, more emotional, british version of dair (but dair is dair and nothing comes close to penn/leighton, not even will/freya, so Malo ends up on #2 of my OTPs of all time)

so about mini/alo:
they went to the same school together, but represented different social circles. mini was always the flawless, popular girl everybody loved to hate. and alo was always the geek, the outsider no one ever recognized.

but because of their similiar social circle (franky, grace, rich, liv etc) they get to know each other and what starts with a strong dislike, soon turns intto confiding each other, when they start talking about their family-situations, and eventually turns into more than friendship.

he calls her princess, she calls him farmboy.
they share a beautiful and heartbreaking 360 kiss.


they are just as much of a rollercoaster ride as dan/blair were, but with a (not nessecarily less heartbreaking but) more realistic and logical ending.
i dont wanna spoil it guys. i love them too much to do that, and i hope everyone can experience them the way i did (series 6 aired parallel to gg s5, actually just about 4 hours earlier and i had a hard time surviving that..)

so anyway, there are millions of beautiful mini/alo videos out there in case anybody is interested in getting invested. series 5+6 are just about 10 episodes each, so come on, give it a try. ITS WORTH IT
